I see the same symptoms on my laptop running unstable with network-manager (0.7.0-1), network-manager-kde (1:0.7~~svn908338-1) and dbus (1.2.8-1) from experimental. Same proplem also with dbus 1.2.1-5. Wired network connects ok, but wireless (ipw2200, WPA) does not connect even though the wlans found during scan are shown in the menu.
