All the
new version samba server could not properly display GB2312 file name in windows
client side. Prepare some files with Chinese file name to try it out. I
tried in knoppix- 3.9 which used the newest samba, and the old knoppix-3.2 which
use samba-2.9.9. they all failed.
Only replaced with the older samba-2.2.3a-15_i386.deb, and samba-common_2.2.3a-15_i386.deb resolved the problem. Please check it, thank you. |
