when I watching any video by gxine version 0.5.903 with metacity composite enabled, the gnome panel very often fall to invisible. It occur especially,not neccesary, during switch to fullscreen and back to windowed mode, by this process I maight make the panel visible again. Panel is only invisible, so area where have been the icons are able to work all-right. If the panel is invisible a can see only background image in place where the panel has been. The issue don't depend on version of grafic driver. I found out this one with fglrx as well as with radeonhd driver.
