I'm running Debian Sid, with stock kernel here: [07:44:41]jsch...@jdh129:~$ uname -r 2.6.26-1-686
/usr is not on a separate partition either: [07:45:05]jsch...@jdh129:~$ cat /etc/fstab /dev/sda5 /boot ext2 defaults 0 1 /dev/sda3 / reiserfs defaults,relatime 0 1 /dev/sda1 none swap sw 0 0 proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 none /sys sysfs defaults 0 0 /dev/sda2 /home reiserfs defaults,relatime 0 2 #/dev/sda6 /home/jschrod/Test ext3 users,auto,relatime,exec 0 2 sys /sys sysfs defaults 0 0 /home/jschrod/Qemu/WinXP.img /mnt/qemu auto noatime,noauto,user,uid=1001,loop,offset=32256 0 0 #/dev/maxtorhdd1 /media/maxtorhdd1 ntfs-3g auto,noatime,user,uid=1001,gid=46 0 0 and I'm running an initramfs. [07:43:56]jsch...@jdh129:~$ls /boot/ config-2.6.26-1-686 initrd.img-2.6.26-1-686.bak System.map-2.6.26-1-686 grub/ lost+found/ vmlinuz-2.6.26-1-686 It also happens on a sidux laptop system, running various sidux kernels. Some more info, both these systems have integrated intel graphics cards. I've also encountered some weird behaviour that when I changed the fb driver to uvesafb splashy was working for a while, however stopped working again when I changed back to vesafb. However I cannot reproduce this now changing again to uvesafb. Cheers Jochen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
