I responded: >That default list, /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/defaults.list, specified gnumeric as >the default handler for the application/vnd.sun.xml.calc and >application/vnd.sun.xml.calc.template types. I have corrected this in >gnome-vfs2 2.8.4-3 (sid) and 2.10.1-2 (experimental). A later upload, 2.8.4-4, ended up in the release version of sarge, so in sarge, etch and sid, nautilus now prefers OOo for opening sxc files. Second problem: > And when I save the file in question, it saves it in gnumeric format, > without changing it's extension. This I reported as http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302563 which was determined to be a Gtk+ issue and was marked as a duplicate of http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302087 which is fixed in upstream Gtk+ 2.6.8, which is now in sid (but not in etch yet). I've verified that I indeed can't reproduce the problem on an up to date sid system. Ray -- People don't respond to any events as real people facing events would.
