Hi, I'm in the process of getting a new upload sponsored to fix this, bug 510113, and one other; considering the size of the package, I aim for as few uploads as possible. Since considering how to package the config files, I have wondered whether, like init scripts or apt sources, timidity could provide a /etc/timidity/config.d directory, and read each file in there. I have had a brief look at the timidity sources to consider implementing this change, but I really would not be able to supply it within any reasonable timeframe, so a brief look was all it was. Admittedly, a fluid-soundfont bug (whilst related) is not the best place for this discussion, but a thought is all it is: it would be worthwhile from a usability perspective to require no explicit configuration beyond package installation. - Toby Smithe (fluid-soundfont maintainer) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
