I compiled up the most recent bluez-gnome (1.8) as well. It took nothing more than getting the most recent source and applying the debian patch from bluez- gnome 0.27-1. I've added the resulting package to the others at
http://www.sharcnet.ca/~tyson/debian/ if anyone wants to give it a try (works for me). There is also an update to the previous packages to includes the updated README.Debian in bluez-utils. It would be really nice to get bluetooth updated in Debian as it has now fallen quite far behind upstream (4.22 vs 3.36 for the daemon/utilities and 1.8 vs 0.27 for the gnome interface). An alternate path (instead of the above patches) might be to just incorporate the latest ubuntu packages http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/bluez Cheers! -Tyson -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
