So at some point the prevailing wisdom was to include the GenericName in the Name, so this is why it shows this. This may have been a bit of Gnome specific advice and http://standards.freedesktop.org/desktop-entry-spec/latest/ar01s05.html doesn't mention it (though it doesn't forbid it either).
