I installed this version of wx from the wx's Debian repo: deb http://apt.wxwidgets.org/ etch-wx main It's needed by the last versions of Code::Blocks.
Nice try, but I downgraded both libwxbase2.8-0 and libwxgtk2.8-0 to 2.8.7.1-1.1 and this doesn't make matters better…
