I've attached mount.d/umount.d scripts to create symlinks based on partition labels found on the attached devices (using udev's vol_id). The symlinks are created in /var/run/usbmount/by-label/. Note that the umount.d script is not called due to bug #356227, so the label symlinks are left around after the device has been removed. The mount.d script overwrites the symlink if any exists, however.
