Hallo, maybe I have some hints.
1. I started Lenny with kernel 2.6.25 and this kernel still starts ud works. When Lenny chanced to kernel 2.6.26-1-686 booting stops with * Setting console screen modes and fonts 2. Thinking of an updateproblem I installed lenny newly on a partitiion, which the new installer shoulf format to ext2 2.1 Booting the Installation CD shows the Basic screen. When I selectet Install the Screen becoms black and nothing more can be seen. 2.2 Selecting graphical instalation suucceeds, but when starting the new lenny it stops again at * Setting console screen modes and fonts -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
