Hi,

Sorry in advance, my English is worst, and its my first bug-report,
please dont hit me.

I've got the Same Problem with Debian Lenny, on an Asus F3T Laptop:

When I tried to run aptitude upgrade, and it got stuck at

Checking battery state...
/dev/sda:
setting Advanced Power Management level to 0xfe (254)

to get rid of the Package I replaced the
/var/lib/dpkg/info/acpi-support.postinst with an empty executale file,
then run dpkg --configure -a and at last remove the package with
aptitude purge

after some further tries I found out:

it got stuck on the update from 109-9 to 109-10,
it got stuck as i manually installed 109-9,
and it got stuck, when I run dpkg --configure -a without replacing the
acpi-support.postist with an empty one.

but after a reboot it runs and prints

Checking battery state...
/dev/sda:
setting Advanced Power Management level to 0xfe (254)
.

no errors or else..

greets NUUP
