Package: kvm
Version: 72+dfsg-3
Severity: normal

KVM's gdb stub appears to be broken at least when debugging a 64-bit
guest on a 64-bit system (I haven't tried any other combinations; I
can do so if it would be useful). I launch kvm using

kvm -hda /dev/lunatique/hackme-disk -boot c -net nic -net tap -vnc localhost:2
-serial stdio -s -S

And attach gdb. I tell gdb to continue, and break with ^C at some
later point during the guest's boot process, and gdb gives me:

(gdb) c
Continuing.
^CRemote 'g' packet reply is too long:
