Package: poppler-utils Version: 0.8.7-1 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/pdftotext
After installing on my system, the Iceweasel content handler defaults to using pdftotext instead of evince for "opening" PDF files. I'm not sure what Iceweasel is hooking into for this, but it seem quite broken behaviour to me. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-openvz-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages poppler-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.7-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libgcc1 1:4.3.2-1 GCC support library ii libpoppler3 0.8.7-1 PDF rendering library ii libstdc++6 4.3.2-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libxml2 2.6.32.dfsg-5 GNOME XML library Versions of packages poppler-utils recommends: ii ghostscript 8.62.dfsg.1-3.1 The GPL Ghostscript PostScript/PDF poppler-utils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Noah Slater, http://tumbolia.org/nslater -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
