Hi Loïc, I tried to trigger the bug on Lenny with apt-xapian-index 0.13 and 0.15 but did not manage. Is it reproducible on your machine with aptitude reinstall for instance? In my attempts to trigger the bug, I did: - aptitude install apt-xapian-index (0.13) - aptitude reinstall apt-xapian-index (0.13) - dpkg -i apt-xapian-index_0.15_all.deb - dpkg -i apt-xapian-index_0.15_all.deb (again) - aptitude purge apt-xapian-index - aptitude install apt-xapian-index (0.13) - update-apt-xapian-index - aptitude reinstall apt-xapian-index (0.13) - dpkg -i apt-xapian-index_0.15_all.deb - update-apt-xapian-index - dpkg -i apt-xapian-index_0.15_all.deb It was not sufficient to observe the bug.
