Package: qemu-launcher Version: 1.8.0~pre0-1 Severity: normal
One can't use an existing TUN/TAP device because even if one puts, e.g. tap0 in 'Name of network device', the command line used is '-net tap, vlan=,ifname=', which is obviously wrong. It should be doing -net tap,vlan=0,ifname=tap0 for the settings I have in the dialogue. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages qemu-launcher depends on: ii libgtk2-gladexml-perl 1.006-1+b1 Perl interface to use user interfa ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.05-4 Using libc functions for internati ii librsvg2-2 2.22.2-2 SAX-based renderer library for SVG ii perl 5.10.0-18 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii qemu 0.8.2-5lenny1 fast processor emulator qemu-launcher recommends no packages.
