Package: apt-proxy Version: 1.9.35-0.3 I've had apt-proxy installed for about 5-6 months now without any problem. Today, when I tried to synchronize my ubuntu workstation with it, I experienced the same problem as mentioned above. It tries to connect forever until ctrl+c'ed.

I checked the packages that are failing to download from the backend and found that only Packages.gz's that contain an Empty file seem to be causing an issue.
