I'm not worried about pristine-tar (which is why I didn't cc Joeyh and Stefano originally): it's not in Etch at all, and the original report was about the sid/lenny Perl 5.10 branch. I'm worried that I have introduced the same incompatibility into Etch by rewriting File::Path::rmtree() into a similar version as the one in Lenny. That's why I reused #479317; sorry if that caused confusion. I don't know how many packages (if any) are affected. The ytnef bug (#507890) is the only user report of a regression that I'm aware of, and it's not quite clear if it's about the same issue. Given that /usr/bin/ytnef-filter uses tempdir("ytnefXXXX", TMPDIR => 1, CLEANUP => 1); that seems likely. Sorry if I've jumped the gun prematurely. -- Niko Tyni [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
