Package: rtorrent Version: 0.8.4-1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
Could you please modify rtorrent so that it prefers encryption by default? In the file src/main.cc, line 408. s/prefer_plaintext/try_outgoing/ Since 'enable_retry' is set, plaintext will occur as necessary. This protects Debian users using rtorrent from potential interference by parties not involved in the torrent.
