    I agree this would be nice, but it's not a trivial fix (dailystrips
calculates the "yesterday" date, but not an arbitrary one).  If you want to
work up a patch to perform this action (it shouldn't be *too* hard), I'll be
happy to consider integrating it, but for the moment, the only time this
issue is observed is when there hasn't been a new strip in a while, and
there would be nothing to see anyways.

    This is something I would normally forward to the upstream developer,
but the upstream project seems to be dead.
