Package: open-iscsi
Severity: important
Version: 2.0.870~rc3-0.3

Technically, this actually is a serious bug, but hey.

The open-iscsi package has a file named /etc/iscsi/initiatorname.iscsi.
This file is listed as a conffile in the package. You must not,
according to debian policy and lenny RC policy[0] ever modify a conffile
programmatically, like in a maintainer script.

Maybe the proper place for this file is in /var anyway. It feels weird
to have a configuration file (and everything in /etc is supposed to be a
configuration file) that says DO NOT EDIT OR REMOVE THIS FILE.

Since stuff *is* working however, maybe it'd be a smart move to
post-pone this change until after lenny.

Cheers,
Peter
