This is now fixed in bzr, the sumamry looks like this:

"""
Subject: unattended-upgrades result for 'top'
From: root <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Unattended upgrade returned: True

Packages that are upgraded:
 procps linux-headers-2.6.27-7-generic linux-headers-2.6.27-7
 linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic enscript

Package installation log:
Done downloading
/usr/bin/dpkg --status-fd 31 --unpack --auto-deconfigure
+/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic_2.6.27-7.16_amd64.deb
+/var/cache/apt/archives/procps_1%3a3.2.7-9ubuntu2.1_amd64.deb
+/var/cache/apt/archives/enscript_1.6.4-12ubuntu0.8.10.1_amd64.deb
+/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-headers-2.6.27-7_2.6.27-7.16_all.deb
+/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-headers-2.6.27-7-generic_2.6.27-7.16_amd64.deb
/usr/bin/dpkg --status-fd 33 --configure linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic
procps
+enscript linux-headers-2.6.27-7 linux-headers-2.6.27-7-generic
"""

(well, the dpkg install log will look a bit different on a non-debug
output of course)

It will also add:
s += _("Packages with upgradable origin but kept back:\n")
if it finds them.

It will not include other upgradable packages that are not in any
allowed origin. Not sure if
it shold show them or not. Feedback/use cases are welcome :)
