Hi Brian,Does the current version still have this problem?
Yes: lakeview ok % mpg321 css_descramble.mp3 High Performance MPEG 1.0/2.0/2.5 Audio Player for Layer 1, 2, and 3. Version 0.59q (2002/03/23). Written and copyrights by Joe Drew. Uses code from various people. See 'README' for more! THIS SOFTWARE COMES WITH ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Playing MPEG stream from css_descramble.mp3 ... MPEG 1.0 layer III, 64 kbit/s, 22050 Hz joint-stereo ^C [0:05] Decoding of css_descramble.mp3 finished.lakeview ok % file css_descramble.mp3 css_descramble.mp3: MPEG ADTS, layer III, v2, 64 kbps, 22.05 kHz, JntStereo
Also, according to <http://www.datavoyage.com/mpgscript/mpeghdr.htm>, 22050 Hz is only possible with MPEG 2.0, so any MPEG file which claims to be 22050 Hz must therefore also be MPEG 2.0.
Can you provide us with a test file for that? Or do you know a program that can create it?
