Athur Korn (the old maintainer) wrote me he now officially resigned. It would be fine if you could do the job (because you know the tool very well, I remember the old emails from you), but if you do not have a chance ... :-(. I think debian is quite important because a lot of people are using it or distributions depending on it (like ubuntu).
