That's a long time for that more or less simple task.
Athur Korn (the old maintainer) wrote me he now officially resigned. It would 
be fine if you could do the job (because you know the tool very well, I 
remember the old emails from you), but if you do not have a chance ... :-(.
I think debian is quite important because a lot of people are using it or 
distributions depending on it (like ubuntu).

I also have to thank for the request which gave me the ideas or directly the
