Hi to all the users listening on this bug report,

I have a couple of notes to make regarding this report.

1. I cannot entertain notes regarding incorrect ELF CLASS in .xsession-errors.

I have written about this in debian-amd64. The ELF CLASS issue is due to the
repackaging of the 32-bit libgtk2.0 in Debian amd64, and the resulting
incorrect library path causing failure to load modules.

Bugs regarding this should be filed against ia32-libs-gtk, although I cannot
imagine that there is any good resolution for this without having a specific
32-bit build made on amd64.

2. npviewer.bin is the process within which the plugin itself is being executed.

Flash is a busy plugin, that does a lot of work. Unfortunately if it's
eating a lot of CPU, it's probably because of Flash itself and not
nspluginwrapper. On an i386 environment, that CPU load would appear on the
iceweasel process itself, blurring the cause of the problem.

However, if npviewer.bin is continuing to run after the page containing the
plugin has been closed, and consuming CPU time, then this is a clear bug and
will need looking at.

---

As such, it looks to me that the main part of this bug lies in point 2 of
this message, and as such (and with your permission) I would like to close
this bug as the problem lies within Flash itself, not nspluginwrapper.

Many thanks,
rob.
