Hi John.

Could you please check the 1.5.18 series? Configuration here, which just
works fine:
| set header_cache=~/mail/dedibox/header_cache
| set message_cachedir=~/mail/dedibox/message_cachedir

I think I manually created both directories, but that's all what I
recall having done (I set this box's mutt up last week).

Are the permissions OK? Any particular underlying FS which may lead you
into troubles? (I just noticed some bugreports about cifs.)

Maybe that bug just got away with the fixes Christoph talks about in
