Package: tvtime Version: 1.0.2-1 Severity: normal recent updates to alsa-base (see bug report #499695) ensure oss kernel modules are not loaded on system bootup as I found after a recent reboot disabled mixer control in oss dependent tvtime. oss-compat should do the trick for others experiencing similar loss of mixer control.
