Package: ekg2 Version: 20081009+2105-1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream confirmed
To reproduce, with ekg2 with unicode support: 1. xterm 2. ekg2 -n -u test 3. <stretch the xterm to make it one column wider> 4. <press the "q" key> As soon as you press "q", two characters appear: ƚq that is: U+019A LATIN SMALL LETTER L WITH BAR and letter q The number of U+019A characters is proportional to the number of times you resize the terminal before pressing another key. In the thread starting at http://lists.ziew.org/pipermail/ekg2-users/2008-October/001314.html the following was noted: /usr/include/ncurses.h: #define KEY_RESIZE 0632 /* Terminal resize event */ and 0632 == 0x19A The bug does not appear in non-unicode version. -- Marcin Owsiany <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://marcin.owsiany.pl/ GnuPG: 1024D/60F41216 FE67 DA2D 0ACA FC5E 3F75 D6F6 3A0D 8AA0 60F4 1216 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
