Hi, Your package will fail to build under some circumstances, as the autoreconf call will remove config.sub and other files. You can see this in the following Ubuntu build log http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19653784/buildlog_ubuntu-jaunty-i386.cacti-spine_0.8.7a-2.3_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz I added "--force --install" to the autoreconf call in debian/rules to work fix this in Ubuntu.
