Though I don't know d-i internals, I noticed during my own lenny fresh
install that the -686 kernel image has been installed out of
the ones available in lenny:

http://packages.debian.org/search?suite=lenny&arch=i386&searchon=names&keywords=linux-image-2.6.26

Can we close this bug or is -686 the new default image in Lenny ?
