Package: logwatch Version: 7.3.6.cvs20080702-1 Severity: normal
/var/cache/logwatch is not created during the install process and thus logwatch fails to do anything useful until it is created. I believe this to be a policy violation, but I could be wrong. If I'm right this bug should be upgraded to serious and it should be fixed for lenny. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages logwatch depends on: ii exim4 4.69-9 metapackage to ease Exim MTA (v4) ii exim4-daemon-light [mail-tran 4.69-9 lightweight Exim MTA (v4) daemon ii perl 5.10.0-17 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages logwatch recommends: ii libdate-manip-perl 5.54-1 a perl library for manipulating da Versions of packages logwatch suggests: ii fortune-mod 1:1.99.1-3.1 provides fortune cookies on demand -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
