Package: fam
Version: 2.7.0-13.3
Severity: important
File: /usr/sbin/famd

Hallo,

today I saw a log message in the log files stateing that famd has
faulted. The message from dmesg is:

[ 9418.774723] famd[5345]: segfault at 616964658d ip 404689 sp 7fff4a34d5e0
error 4 in famd[400000+23000]

I discovers the message some hours after famd has died, so I don't know
anymore what triggered the fault. I don't know how to reproduce the
fault. I hoe that htis error message gives you enough information.

Regards,
Vincent Smeets
