Right, you could either remove your custom profile, or edit it so it
contains id3v2mux.

Rhythmbox (or really gnome-audio-profiles-properties from the
gnome-media package) should let you both delete and edit profiles. I'm
not sure why it doesn't work for you?

You could do the same thing using gconf-editor, it's probably easier
than gconftool from the commandline.
