I can reproduce it. There are two possible function styles: ANSI and K&R (default: K&R, see the funcsynopsis.style parameter). Now PDF produces output without the "[]" in both cases. HTML output contains the braces if ANSI style is used and it misses them in K&R style. So this looks like that it is not a trivial issue. I need to re-check with upstream, if the result depends on the style and how to fix the issue. This will unlikely be fixed for Lenny. Regards, Daniel
