Hello, as uploading of ipython 0.9.1 to Debian is blocked until foolscap is accepted (it's in the new queue right now) you might want to give the packages of foolscap and ipython 0.9.1 I built a try.
If you want to give them a try have a look at http://archive.sp-its.at/ (my personal Debian package repository). I am using both for more than two weeks now and haven't noticed any problems. I am curious as to if you can also reproduce this problem with ipython 0.9.1. Regards, Stephan
