My xorg* packages are those currently in Unstable (xorg=1:7.3+18). These packages do NOT conflict with nvidia-glx (So I do currently use these packages together with nvidia-glx w/o any problems). The problem occurs when upgrading xorg from 1:7.3+18 to 1:7.4~4 (which is currently the most recent version in Experimental) So perhaps I should reassign the bug to xorg= 1:7.4~4 or, to be precise, to xserver-xorg-core=2:1.5.2-1 (currently in Experimental) ??? By the way, I know this is _Unstable_ + _Experimental_, I just wanted to inform about a possible future problem.
