I often need to open several perldoc buffers, which is impossible with the current version: every perldoc invocation erases and then uses the *Perldoc* buffer. I've got a patch that implements (optional, via customize) uniquely-named buffers: https://gaffer.ptitcanardnoir.org/darcs/pub/home/.elisp/perldoc.el This is my Darcs repository, which you can get with: darcs get --partial https://gaffer.ptitcanardnoir.org/darcs/pub/home/ Then the log can be seen with: darcs changes .elisp/perldoc.el It would be hard for me to provide a simple patch, since these modifications take place on top of the patch I proposed for #504186.
