Apple uses .m4v for their mpeg4 video files, so I have a lot of them on my system. mplayer plays them fine, but bash_completion doesn't know they exist so I'm forced to put 'ls' at the beginning of the line to make it complete, or just type it in by hand (oh, the humanity!). Attached is a patch that adds .m4v and .M4V support for mplayer to bash_completion. -David -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages bash depends on: ii base-files 4.0.5 Debian base system miscellaneous f ii debianutils 2.30 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libc6 2.7-14 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libncurses5 5.6+20080830-1 shared libraries for terminal hand Versions of packages bash recommends: pn bash-completion <none> (no description available) Versions of packages bash suggests: ii bash-doc 3.2-4 Documentation and examples for the -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
