I had the following crash using debsign: $ debsign logilab-common_0.36.0*changes /usr/bin/debsign: line 235: 12:DEBSIGN_KEYID=: command not found I traced the problem to my environment variable GREP_OPTIONS which includes --line-number (hence the "12:" in front of "DEBSIGN_KEYID"). debsign should probably discard the GREP_OPTIONS environment variable.
