I will check it out (have not used it yet), but what
I like on "libnet-imap-simple-perl" is its speed...

Note:   I am accessing over 1300 mailfolders and have catch ONE
        header of the messages and move it in  a  special  hit.
        Sometimes, specialy if I was 1-2 weeks not in France  I
        have over 200.000 messages in the folders and  the  run
        take some hours...
