Could be, haven't build it in a while. Some tex build-depends changed in other programs too. Michael (CC'ed) discoverd last week that Rpy 1.0.* does not build under R 2.8.0 because a bunch of internal headers for R are no longer exported. Greg (also CC'ed) promised to look into and fix Rpy if possible. Any news there? I was out of town and haven't looked into anything.
