Hi Yves-Alexis, I am the person who originally submitted the bug report on Splashy's troubles with hibernation. I encountered the problem a few months ago on a Dell Latitude. Shortly thereafter, several other people wrote in to say that they were experiencing similar difficulties.
At the moment, I am away from home working on a (recently acquired) Compaq Evo N410c. I just installed Splashy on this machine and it works perfectly with kernels 2.6.25 and 2.6.26. To be more precise, I had no difficulty resuming after calling /usr/sbin/hibernate nor did I have any difficulty resuming after calling /usr/sbin/s2disk When I return home tomorrow, I will reinstall and test Splashy on my Dell Latitude, let you know if it works and provide you with some feedback. Hopefully, everything will work and you will get some cookies from the Bug Sprint! Cheers, - Eric -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
