Package: lesstif2 Version: 1:0.95.0-2.1 Severity: important Quite possibly a duplicate of many other lesstif2 bugs, but I can't be certain that it is the sole cause of any of them.
lesstif2 contains code which assumes 32-bit longs, guarded by #if !defined(WORD64) && !defined(LONG64) On AMD64, longs are 64 bits but that guarded code still gets compiled in. It seems LONG64's definition should come from /usr/include/X11/Xmd.h lesstif2's include/Motif-2.1/XmI/XpmI.h sets LONG64 for Alpha, but no other chips. Debugging logs pointing at this causing memory corruption are in bug #469681. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages lesstif2 depends on: ii libc6 2.7-15 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libice6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libsm6 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Session Management library ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxp6 1:1.0.0.xsf1-2 X Printing Extension (Xprint) clie ii libxt6 1:1.0.5-3 X11 toolkit intrinsics library lesstif2 recommends no packages. lesstif2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
