Hi.

I am the new maintainer of usbmount and the udev subsystem has changed
drastically since the bug was reported. Also, I updated the package
slightly and it is now in version 0.0.16.

I second the suggestion of Martin. Please, post the output here, so that
more information can be known about the behaviour of usbmount.

Also, running

udevadm test --action=add /sys/class/block/sda1

May generate very useful output. Please, substitute sda1 with the
appropriate device.

Attach here the output of the command from and we can see what are the
actions that udev is trying to perform. Please, be awarer that the
"udevadm" command above generates a lot of output.
