Hi,

it would be very useful if xvnc4viewer could connect to unix domain sockets instead of tcp ports. This would allow using simple unix filesystem permissions for access control instead of passwords. Another advantage of using unix domain sockets is that you don't have to find a free display number. This is very useful when using a virtualisation software such as qemu/kvm which provides a vnc server for accessing the virtual machine.
