Package: cpufreqd Version: 2.3.3-2 Severity: important Hi,
I use debian testing and just updated to cpufreq 2.3.3-3. After installing, cpufreqd won't scale my AMD Phenom 9850 (4x2.5GHz) down anymore. I use the 'ondemand' governor, and normally my CPUs are scaled down to 1.25 GHz in idle mode. Now I downgraded to 2.3.3-2, and it's working again. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26.6 (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages cpufreqd depends on: ii libc6 2.7-14 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcpufreq0 004-2 shared library to deal with the cp ii libsensors3 1:2.10.7-1 library to read temperature/voltag ii libsysfs2 2.1.0-5 interface library to sysfs ii lsb-base 3.2-20 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip Versions of packages cpufreqd recommends: ii acpid 1.0.6-13 Utilities for using ACPI power man Versions of packages cpufreqd suggests: ii cpufrequtils 004-2 utilities to deal with the cpufreq -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
