this report is kinda related to #501554 ("ifupdown: gramatically incorrect
message").
"Don't seem to be have all the variables for %s/%s" is way too vague
IMHO (causing people such as
http://www.nabble.com/-etc-network-interfaces:-post-up-funktioniert-nicht-td14788505.html
to lose much more time than necessary during troubleshooting),
it should better be something like (my favourite)
Warning: %s/%s interface config seems incomplete - missing variable entry?
or
Warning: interface config of %s/%s doesn't seem to have all required entries.
Detected possibly incomplete configuration variable section of interface %s/%s.
Warning: config section of interface %s/%s seems to be incompletely specified!
Warning: missing required variables in configuration section of interface %s/%s?
