I was able to reproduce the error(s) in a new installation within vmware.
The steps followed were
- Install Debian using the debian-LennyBeta2-amd64-CD-1.iso
- Upgrade to the newest packages.
- Install gnome-hearts
- scrollkeeper-update (shows errors like what was reported at #501548)
After installing the recompiled package the errors from
scrollkeeper-update went away.
Could you do me a favour? Could you do the same steps, but instead of
installing gnome-hearts from the repository and then installing your rebuild
package, could you instead install your rebuilt package straight away after
a clean install?
My reasoning here is that the scrollkeeper errors occur on the first install
of gnome-hearts but not on subsequent installs. Which would explain why I
can't reproduce it on my machine since I've installed it hundreds of times
during development.
