I'm having trouble figuring out why this isn't a kernel-package bug. According to the closing of bugs.debian.org/310394 , we should be checking DEB_HOST_ARCH_CPU instead of DEB_HOST_GNU_CPU. How is this recommended to be resolved *besides* patching kernel-package?
