Package: gstreamer0.10-pitfdll Version: 0.9.1.1+cvs20080215-1 Severity: wishlist
Totem, when using GStreamer as the backend, cannot play many RMVB RealVideo files nowadays, esp. RV30/40 ones, even with w32codecs installed, whereas mplayer and xine play them just fine. The problem appears that gstreamer0.10-pitfdll does not yet contain code to handle the proprietary RealVideo codecs found in w32codecs. The same issue is tracked at the following Ubuntu Launchpad URL: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer/+bug/111557 Many thanks!
